And a new men’s clothing store opens in Mount Pleasant
Out of Hand owner and founder Lisa Thomas has introduced her debut line of clothing called, “OOH,” inspired by the different styles of her team members.
New Launch
Lisa Thomas, who has owned the popular Old Village boutique Out of Hand for 25 years, has debuted her first clothing line called, “OOH.” Thomas worked with her staff to curate the 30-piece collection to reflect each team member’s personal style. Shoppers will find metallic caftans, quilted jackets, and floral print tunics and sundresses, as well as menswear-inspired vests and pants. The line is made exclusively for Out of Hand, with plans to sell the pieces wholesale in the future. Look for additional styles to hit the floor (and website) this month and for fall in August. For the Men
After working for a men’s store in Louisiana, T.D. McMurry has opened his own eponymous space in The Shops of Mount Pleasant, aiming to fill what he says is a gap in the market between traditional suit shops and specialty outdoor stores. Customers can find “relaxed classics” from brands such as Billy Reid, Rails, Citizens of Humanity, No Nationality, Long Wharf Supply Co., and Matias. In addition to clothing and accessories, the brick and mortar will carry books, candles, and grooming products. An online store is coming soon. [320 W. Coleman Blvd., tdmcmurryshop.com]
