Coastal Cool
Textile fans can now shop in person for designer Emily Daws’s pillows, wallcoverings, and fabrics with prints inspired by Lowcountry waterways and fauna at her first brick-and-mortar store on John’s Island. In the 600-square-foot space, customers can also find lampshades, table linens, and a collection of upholstered furniture made in collaboration with Coley Home, including stools, ottomans, chairs, and side tables. In addition, the former dress designer offers a curated collection of gifts, candles, and pottery. Look for Daws to host launch parties for new collections, sample sales, and pop-ups with other local creatives. Design consultations are available by appointment. Palm Beach Chic
After opening its Palm Beach flagship in 2022, women’s lifestyle brand Julia Armory has opened its second boutique in the former Amanda Lindroth space on King Street. The brand launched in 2017 with a blue-and-white floral print inspired by the founder’s wedding linens and has expanded to include women’s clothing and a children’s collection, as well as toiletry bags, tablecloths, place mats, and napkins in block prints. The clothing line is known for classic silhouettes and matching sets in colorful prints and rich textures, such as dupioni silk and velvet. [445 King St., juliaarmory.com]
