Parmesan Toasts

INGREDIENTS: 

4 thick slices of sourdough bread or baguette
4 tsp. salted butter, softened
4 Tbs. grated Parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS: 

Butter the bread slices on one side and top them with cheese.

Turn the oven to broil. Place the toasts directly on the rack, cheese side up, and keep a close eye on them until the cheese and bread have toasted nicely, about three to four minutes.
