10 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated (3 cups)
1/4 cup lager or ale
3 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
2 Tbs. ketchup
2 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbs. prepared horseradish, drained
2 tsp. hot sauce, such as Tabasco or Crystal
1½ tsp. dry mustard
1 garlic clove, minced
Combine all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until the mixture is smooth and spreadable. Transfer to a small bowl and serve with cut vegetables such as carrots, celery, and radishes.
