Beauty On The Bluff

A modern farmhouse on a 12-acre parcel along Bohicket Creek meshes the Lowcountry’s past and present. With a coastal contemporary aesthetic, the home affords plenty of space for art and entertaining, while paying homage to the history of the grand oak-filled property. Zerkel commissioned artist Amy Dixon to paint the piece above the fireplace. Inspired by the property’s grove of oaks, it accentuates the room’s magnificent vaulted, oak-paneled ceiling.
