Feeling Lucky?
This week gets humming with two opportunities to win pairs of tickets to see Brendan James and Sarah Jarosz at Charleston Music Hall
written by Sarah Doochin
This week, Charleston Music Hall is giving singer-songwriter fans a lot to be thankful for with back-to-back shows Thursday and Friday from Brendan James and Sarah Jarosz. Even better? Charleston magazine is offering Facebook followers the chance to score tickets to these performances.
Tomorrow is Brendan James’ last show before he becomes a dad and takes a little break from music, so we suggest you catch the pop-rock balladier—whose sophomore album, Brendan James, hit number one on the iTunes singer-songwriter charts—while you can. Need additional encouragement? His opening act is Tony Lucca, season two runner-up on The Voice.
Friday, Sarah Jarosz takes the stage. She's been wowing audiences with her striking voice and stark bluegrass ballads since she was a child. She gained notoriety as a solo artist after releasing her 2009 debut album, Song Up in Her Head, and began performing with the likes of Ricky Skaggs and David Grisman.
You have a chance to win tickets to each show by visiting our Facebook page and leaving a comment sharing which artist you'd like to see and why. The lucky concert-goers will be selected tomorrow morning (Thursday, November 21), so check back on our Facebook page to find out if you're one of them.
