Summerville

Summerville
April 2015

A mainstay of life in ever-expanding Summerville, this neighborly market serves a mostly local clientele looking for area-grown and -raised produce and meats, as well as handcrafted goods and food. Stroll the tent-lined parking lot for a wide swath of fruits and veggies from nearby growers such as Gruber Farms, Ron’s Roots, and Kurios Farms’ hydroponically grown cukes, tomatoes, and lettuce. Care for some dry-aged beef, poultry, even forest-raised pork and duck eggs? You’ll find it here from Solo Verdi Meats, Keegan-Filion Farm, Sunny Cedars Farm, and Wishbone Heritage Farms. In addition, there are plenty of prepared and packaged goodies—such as pierogi, cupcakes, veggie and seafood dips, as well as hometown favorite Rina’s Kitchen’s handmade jams, jellies, relishes, and pickles—to snack on or take home.
