Folly Beach Eats

Served all day, breakfast fare includes savory dishes (such as shrimp and grits topped with bacon, cheese, and onions) and sweet (like the pancakes with fruit and real maple syrup).

Morning-after brunch lines can be long at this quaint eatery, but mimosas and hot coffee help speed the clock. Pretty soon, you’ll be digging into a smothered breakfast burrito, loaded huevos rancheros, decadently glazed cinnamon rolls, or creamy stone-ground grits with thick slabs of bacon. The Lost Dog’s “Folly Benedict”—poached eggs perched on side-by-side shrimp and crab cakes, drizzled with spicy hollandaise—was a regular special so popular it became a daily staple. Even canine guests get their own water bowls.

Open Monday-Saturday, 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m., & Sunday, 6:30 a.m.-2 p.m. 106 W. Huron Ave., (843) 588-9669, lostdogfollybeach.com
