Work where you shop in The Skinny Dip’s new communal office

Coworking is sunny and chic at Upstairs at 345 King.

Forget the cubicle and picture this: an airy space, flooded with light from windows overlooking King Street and occupied by sleek tables, comfy couches, and a full-service coffee bar (where even frosé is on tap). Add a rotating cast of freelancers and entrepreneurs, and you have the workday reality for members of Upstairs at 345 King, the new coworking concept at The Skinny Dip boutique.

While the second-floor bar remains open to the public, all shopping now takes place on the ground level, leaving Upstairs a haven for productivity and collaboration. “The Skinny Dip is a collective of brands run by dynamic entrepreneurs,” says Sara Rossi, who co-owns the company with Taylor Ivey. “As brand owners ourselves, it’s important to us to support small business owners and creatives. Upstairs is a natural extension of what we already do downstairs.”

For $125 a month (and a $50 initiation fee), membership includes nine-to-five access and a slew of other perks detailed at skinnydipamerica.com/345king.
