Long before Taco Boy’s frozen screwdrivers or SUP lessons were around, fun in the sun on “The Edge of America” in the 1950s included amusements and putt-putt at the Ocean Plaza, dancing on the Folly Beach Pier, and a perennial favorite: fishing.
