NORTH CHARLESTON ARTS FEST

This five-day festival highlights regional and local artists and performers, showcasing hundreds of works of fine arts and crafts and photography. Now celebrating its 41st year, the festival began as a one-day community event in Park Circle and today includes concerts, theater and dance performances, children’s programs, and more. This year’s North Charleston Arts Festival Poster Design Competition winner was Jirah Perkins, a local multidisciplinary artist whose submission (shown) illustrates the imaginative play of her son.
